Business Chinese Mandarin Lessons are designed for students who intend to develop their ability to use Chinese language when conducting business in China, which is aimed to enhance students' Chinese skills in everyday business activities and to promote their understanding of the business environment and culture in the contemporary China.
This course not only immerses you in more advanced language understanding, but also introduce you culturally sensitive business strategies. You will be familiar with Chinese customers' expectations, concerns, needs, therefore promote your business effectively.
There are five levels in business Chinese lessons.
Elementary (Level 1, 2, 3, 4)
This level is designed for students who have no or very limited knowledge of business Chinese.
At this level, you will learn all of following:
? Mandarin Chinese pronunciation, such as Initials, finals, tones and spelling, some colloquial expressions, some Chinese characters.
? How to initiate or respond basic business conversations in business activities such as greetings, introductions, exchanging business cards, business etiquette, etc.
? Begin to learn structure of Chinese characters.
Lower Intermediate (Level 5, 6, 7, 8)
This level is designed for students who have some basic knowledge of business Chinese.
At this level, you will learn all of following:
? Learn basic structure of Chinese characters and rules of character-building.
? Learn commonly-used expressions in business activities such as arranging agenda, company visit, introducing product, business negotiations, sales promotions, placing orders, delivery, etc.
? Read and understand short-and-simple project, partnership proposal, business mail, orders and contacts.
Intermediate (Level 9, 10, 11)
This level is designed for students who can do certain effective business communication in Chinese.
At this level, you will learn all of following:
? Learn more Chinese characters and glossaries
? Learn more topics such as new market entry, sales strategy, product improvement, financial services, intellectual property, investment, China economic outlook, etc.
? Read and understand some longer, complex business documents, official business mail, proposal, etc.
Upper Intermediate (Level 12, 13, 14)
This level is designed for students who can do fairly effective business communication in Chinese.
At this level, you will learn all of following:
? Learn complex business topics such as product planning, product launch, marketing plans, etc.
? Learn e-commerce, supply chain management, business strategy, financial crisis, etc.
? Read and understand articles focused on social economic issues, stock markets, mainstream business newspaper and internet etc.
Advanced (Level 15, 16)
This level is designed for students who can do skillful business communication in Chinese.
At this level, you will learn all of following:
? Learn sophisticated topics that appear in public media and writings.
? Gain a vast knowledge of China's emerging market, business investment environment, and China's commercial culture
? Read and understand the underlying meaning of business texts; write long thesis to present your business-related research findings.
