The Los Arqueros estate is situated in Benahavis, close to the popular Marbella and marina of Puerto Banus. With a golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros and an array of apartments built by the established development company Taylor Woodrow, this development proved to be hugely popular during the boom times on the Costa Del Sol. The fact that the company building the various different development was a trusted name, had something to do with the popularity, but the main factor was how competitive the pricing was. Taylor Woodrow always released properties within Los Arqueros at less than comparable developments in the area.

Now they have completed their original masterplan and all but exited the country club, there are many fantastic deals emerging from both private sales and left over stock from the developer. First Property Choice owner Mark Goodwin says, "private vendors are definitely being more realistic when it comes to price, as always it comes down to how quickly each individual wants to sell." He continues, "the point is if prospective buyers dig deep enough into the apartments that are in Los Arqueros for sale they will find high quality real estate within a well looked after development."

Taylor Woodrow do have several developments in Spain currently, including Elviria, Gibraltar and the Balearic islands. There game plan will be to exit their international portfolio moving forward and then look to strengthen their domestic business. The fact that they created such a great environment in Los Arqueros demonstrates their integrity as a developer and the fact they have provided many northern Europeans with great value holiday homes.
