Atlona Technologies has added to their extensive scaler line once again with one of the most unique to date, the AT-PRO82. This new professional video scaler designed especially for the educational market boasts eight inputs and 2 outputs. This device is designed to work not only as a scaler, but also as a switcher for multiple Audio/Video sources and VGA displays. This Atlona unit is capable of switching 2 x Composite Video, 2 x S-Video, 2 x Component and 2 x VGA, all with Stereo Audio signals going out to 2 x VGA with Stereo Audio Outputs. This gives the AT-PRO82 the ability to switch between sources and outputs to two mirrored displays. This scaler is capable of outputting a wide range of resolutions that will easily match the native resolution of any display up to 1080p or 1920x1200.

The AT-PRO82 has the capability of 50Hz/60Hz conversion allowing users who have American televisions in Europe, or the other way around, to view content on their display regardless of broadcast format (PAL/NTSC). With manual, RS232, IR Remote control options, as well as a comprehensive on screen OSD menu, users are able to select a variety of desired output resolutions and enable them to make necessary adjustments for the optimal picture quality.
