Why Use Lavender Essential Oil upon Kilimanjaro
We have already mentioned how off-putting in can be to get to Tanzania and get confronted with the completely unique culture of the country. Your Lavender Essential Oil is a vital accessory as you struggle to come to terms with the difference in culture. If you get severe headaches or migraines, you can count on your lavender to help reduce the pain. It will help you a lot as you start your climb on Kilamanjaro.
To begin your Mount Kilimanjaro adventure you will catch a minibus from your hotel and be driven on a terrifying journey to one of the main entrances into the Kilimanjaro national park. After being dropped off at your entrance which may be the Machame gate you will need to obtain your permit which will allow you to make a shot at the peak. Once you have your permit in hand you can meet your guides and porters and begin on the first day of hiking. The first day of the trip takes you though tropical rainforest where you can observe monkeys and other exotic wildlife. You probably don't want to use your lavender here because it might cause a disturbance. The going can be quite difficult as the heat and humidity saps any energy you may have. The camelback which had 3 litres of water when you began the trek is soon depleted and you tap into your reserve bottles which are held close to your chest.
At the end of a long day of hiking you will find yourself getting ready for the first evening. Your tents have already been set up by the porters who somehow have already been at the camp for the past hour. They definitely didn't take any Lavender to calm down. As you finally have a chance to rest and take on board some much needed water and food you can think back on a long day's trek and start to socialise properly with a group of people you just met the night before. It won't take long at all to realise that the Milo hot chocolate drink, with its traditional serving of 10 sugars, is the best and most energizing part of the whole journey. You will be so ready for bed on that first night that you won't even need to use your lavender essential oil to get to bed quickly.
The sun will slide into your tent and have you ready for another day of hiking on the next morning. Once you have gotten on some more clothing to deal with the cool early morning air, you can drink a bit of water and then head to the main tent to eat the breakfast the porters have already prepared. As you get prepared to head out on another day of hiking, you will drink hot tea and more Milo chocolate with plenty of sugar. With everything including the Lavender Essential Oil packed away you start to climb again. Your ascent will take you into rapidly thinning air, and you are certain to notice it. We'll discuss this more soon.
