Fans of Xero web-based accounting software explain how their business management has been transformed, on YouTube. 

England, UK, November 08, 2008 -- Accounting software isn't often considered great television material, but online accounting provider Xero believes it's got a great story to tell. It's launching its own channel on YouTube so small businesspeople can see how the company's web-based accounting system is helping other small businesses get ahead. 

Xero Founder and UK MD Hamish Edwards says online video is very popular and an immediate way to show businesspeople that the company's web-based accounting software really does make a big difference for people managing a small business.

"We truly believe that we have a great product in Xero. It's very good online accounting software. But more importantly it's a really useful tool to help small business owners run their business better," he says. 

"Xero is packed with automated processes that make routine admin like bank reconciliations and invoicing easy. But where business owners really find it adds value is that they can instantly get an up-to-date overview of their cash flow – what's coming in, what payments are coming up, who owes you money. 

"That's the kind of information you need to keep on top of if you're going to be successful. And you can't get that big picture view just using spreadsheets." 

The YouTube channel will feature clips of the web-based accounting software company's founders as well as thoughts from customers and useful information for small business.
